It would be great if someone figured out a way that we could visually tell the difference between regular and decaf. Maybe decaf glows? Weird color tint to it? How about if it left a ring on the cup so all you would have to do was tilt it and you could see if it is decaf?

Random Thought 002 - God's Save Point?
The reading this Sunday was of Genesis: the story of creation. Sitting in the pew (front row, as is my custom) I pondered why the passage kept reading, "And God saw that it was good."
Did this imply that God had doubts that it would be good. I can imagine him sitting there and going, "Whew! I'm glad that turned out okay. It was a big risk, but it turned out alright." This, of course, gets translated into, "And God saw that it was good."
The other thought was that maybe God did some not so good things. But, being God, decided to go back and undo the crap that didn't turn out so good. So what wasn't written in the passage was:
"And God saw that this was pretty crappy, so he went back to the point in time before he made that choice and started over. ... And there was light. And God saw that it was good. Which was a relief especially since he just made that other screw up."
Filtered by the B.C. version of Reader's Digest into: "And there was light. And God saw that it was good."
Amen. (Which is the pious version of "period.")

Idea 004 - Organic Batteries
We focus on conserving fossil fuels, but when we run, we want to burn as many calories as possible. Why can't we use the energy we waste so thoroughly in exercise to fuel our cars and homes? Here are some brainstorming ideas on how to make this work:
1) Prisoners - can we make them run treadmills? Couldn't the energy created power a small city?
2) Non-functioning humans - this is a little non-PC, but hey, what are we to do with our family members that we just can't pull the plug on? You still want to visit them. You are too selfish to do the right thing and make that decision to let them go. And they are probably taking up good health care money. So let's somehow use them as organic batteries.
You want to save the earth? Step up to the plate and do something. I'm definitely going to put in my living will to make a Duracell out of me.

Random Thought 001 - Hypercubes
In contemplating the very overused (and never applied) phrase "think outside the box," I was wondering if one could say, "Think outside the three dimensional hypercube." This of course leads to the thought about how a hypercube is defined. Clearly a definition could include some orthogonality in the lines created by each set of points. Here are some thoughts on the characteristics of three dimensional parallelpipeds and some ponderances on how these can be extrapolated to higher spacial dimensional hypercubes.
1) Each line created by a set of vertices is parallel to three other lines created by vertices. It is also perpendicular to four of the other lines created by vertices. It does not intersect any of the other four lines, nor is it parallel to any of those.
2) In a two dimensional world, the "parallelpiped" is a rectangle and has four sides and four lines making up the edges. This is 2^2, 2*2 or 2+2. But in three dimensions there are six sides and 12 lines. Six sides could be 2*3 indicating the pattern is 2*(number of dimensions). Hmm... might there be some combination/permutation thing going on here?
Lunch time is over. Somebody comment, please, this is driving me nuts.

Idea 003 - Onboard Blackberry Cradle
Wouldn't it be nice if your blackberry could ride onboard your laptop? It could be charging, syncing and being protected from spills all at the same time.
I created one with business cards, tyvek cd holders and masking tape. Somebody please make one that isn't so ghetto.

Idea 002 - Pronounce Your Numbers Properly?
How about we give each digit a sound so instead of saying digits in a greater than two digit number, we can pronounce them? Here're the rules: combine the consonant sounds if you can, add vowel sounds as needed and have fun!
1 = b
2 = g
3 = h
4 = k
5 = l
6 = p
7 = q
8 = r
9 = s
0 = t
So this year would be gitoter.
My age is hip (or hop or hap).
Notice we're adding vowely sounds at will as we need, kinda like the Romans did.
Try these:
step = 906
plib = 651
blipster = 156,908
Whatcha think?

Idea 001 - The Car Washing Carport
It's a carport and it's a carwash in the rain. Put some sort of solution into it and everytime it rains it drizzles this solution on your car. No rinsing necesary. It is good for all the time use - won't tear up your paint job. The solution is biodegradable. Might be cool if the solution, after it washed your car, put nutrients into your grass.

Why I created this blog
This is a set of ideas by me - Bonnie the Idea Girl.
If you like an idea, use it. I ask that you send me the result and how it went. No royalties or commission necessary. If it is a product - it would be nice to get one free, though.
